The first shot misses the guard, flying instead into the wall, where it ricochets off into the street. The second howeer slices a clean line across the throat of the left most bouncer, sending him reeling as blood pours out of the wound. Maynard meanwhile takes off down the street at a fairly rapid pace, the guards shots echoing out harmlessly behind him. (Status: Maynard Evers: Two bullets, L wounds both of them. Right Bouncer: One bullet, S wound Left Bouncer: Two bullets, L and S wounds respectively.)

The surving bodyguard tries again to fire, but his shots are far wide of their mark, sailing over Veronica's head and into the crowd, as indicated by the two screams that follow. Farrington's hand, meanwhile, is feeling around upon the table for the firearm of the since fallen Edgar Drax.

Veronica pulls herself erect as she moves the Browning to her left hand and draws a second, walking toward the two at the table.

Stopping several feet from the table, Veronica brings her gun up and pulls the trigger twice more, once with Farrington as the target and once with the thug. (Four pool into Shot 1, 3 into Shot 2. Reroll with Karma either if it doesn't result in a kill.)

With a loud crack the bullet passes through the table, striking Farrington somewhere in the abdomen and causing the hand that was reaching for the gun to be pulled beneath the table. A split second later, his last remaining bodyguard topples forward, a bullet lodged in the left cheek.
Coup de Grāce [edit] [delete] Veronica Alder
Veronica takes one last step before beginning to fire, round after round flying through the table until she's certain Farrington is dead before turning to survey the club, gun at the ready. "Clear! Is the exit open?"
The end of Farrington [edit] [delete] Admin
After three rounds, Veronica is certain that not only Farrington but Drax, too, must be dead. Surrounding her is complete carnage, over turned tables, screaming guests and the five bodies, not to mention any struck by stray bullets. It seems most of the club is now aware of the shooting, but still the music and lights continue their relentless balisage.
Cyon's Update [edit] [delete] Cyon
Cyon calls Maynard, "Veronica has killed all those on the dias, and she will be on her way to help you in a moment. Can you be ready for her when she comes so you can make your escape?" Cyon call Veronica, "Maynard is in a little bit of trouble, both the bouncers are alive, although both seriously injured. I told him to be ready to make the escape and that you would be with him shortly." Cyon also informs her of Maynard location in respect to the bouncers and to the club.

Veronica holsters the two Brownings and makes her way from the dias, moving as rapidly as she can to the exit Maynard was attempting to clear. "Understood; Maynard, I'm on my way. Heads up." At the bottom of the stairs she stops to draw two Steyr TMP Machine Pistols, grasping one in either hand as she attempts to run up the stairs. About half of the way up she stops with a cry of pain as her injured leg is pushed too hard, but continues at an easier pace. Upon reaching the surface she heads for the doors, pushing one open with her shoulder as she exits with weapons drawn behind the two bouncers. Beneath a hail of suppressive gunfire, Veronica runs across the street to the waiting Maynard. (10 rounds per guard)

While the damage inflicted on the bouncers appears to be very minimal, they both dive for cover underneath the massive volume of fire. Bullets ricochet everywhere, breaking glass and leaving holes in walls as Veronica runs across the street, reaching Maynard. Both bouncers are flat upon the ground, most of the bullets passing just above their heads to chip the pavement behind them. By this point the commotion has caused a complete pileup of traffic.

Maynard mounts the bike motioning for Veronica to do the same. He quickly puts the safety back on his gun and tucks it into his jeans. As soon as she's on, he starts the bike and tries to get around the traffic jam, using the sidewalk if necessary.
